Monica McCarty's Highlander Untamed is a double finalist for the National Readers' Choice Award: for Best Historical Romance and Best First Book. It was also a finalist for the HOLT Medallion in the Best First Book category.

Brenda Novak is a double winner in the Lories contest sponsored by RWA's From the Heart Chapter. Dead Giveaway won best Single Title Romance of 2007, and Dead Right won Best Romantic Suspense of 2007.

Allison Brennan has inked a new deal with Ballantine for the first three books in a paranormal suspense series based on the Seven Deadly Sins.

Candice Hern's Lady Be Bad is a finalist for Best Historical Romance in the Write Touch Readers' Award.

Brenda Novak is a double finalist for the Write Touch Readers' Award in the Romantic Suspense category, with Dead Right and Dead Giveaway.

Brenda Novak scores a triple in the Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence. Dead Giveaway and Dead Right are each finalists for Best Romantic Suspense, and Coulda Been a Cowboy is a finalist for Best Long Contemporary Romance.

The first book in Allison Brennan's upcoming FBI series now has a confirmed title of Sudden Death and is tentatively scheduled for release in April 2009. She has also sold a short story called "A Capital Obsession" for the anthology Two of the Deadliest, an all-new and all-female collection of mystery and crime stories edited by Elizabeth George.

Monica McCarty's Highlander Untamed was named one of the Top Ten Best Romances of 2007 by Amazon.com. It was also chosen as Best Historical Debut of 2007 by Michelle Buonfiglio of Romance: B(u)y the Book at LifetimeTV.com.

Candice Hern has sold foreign rights for In The Thrill of the Night to Spain.

Brenda Novak has accepted an offer from MIRA for three novels and a novella. The novels will be released back-to-back in August, September, and October of 2009, and will be a continuation of the Last Stand series that begins this summer.

Allison Brennan has sold foreign rights for Killing Fear to Italy, and for Tempting Evil to Bulgaria.

Jami Alden's recent release, Private Party, will be exerpted in the Australian version of Cosmo.

Candice Hern has a confirmed release date of October 2008 for the anthology It Happened One Night, which will include her novella "From This Moment On."

Monica McCarty's Highlander Unmasked hit the extended NY Times Bestseller List at #29! It also spent two weeks on the USA Today Bestseller List.

Jami Alden's A Taste of Honey has gone into a second printing. Barbara Freethy's 2005 book, Don't Say a Word, has also gone back to print.

Lots of foreign sales last month. Candice Hern's Lady Be Bad has sold to Germany. Barbara Freethy's 1996 RITA winner, Daniel's Gift, has sold to Japan. Bella Andre's Take Me has sold to the Ukraine. Allison Brennan's "No Evil" trilogy has sold to Germany. And Brenda Novak's Every Waking Moment has also sold to Germany and will be released there this month.

Barbara Freethy's Taken won the National Readers' Choice Award for Best Romanctic Suspense of 2006.

Brenda Novak's Dead Silence won the Book Buyers' Best Award for Best Romantic Suspense of 2006. That title also won the Top Pick by Levy Entertainment (a major book distributor) in the same contest, and AuthorIsland.com's award for Best Romantic Suspense of 2006.

Allison Brennan won the Borders award for Bestselling Debut Author of 2006 for her trilogy The Prey, The Hunt, and The Kill. Allison has also sold her next 6 books to the UK publisher Piatkus, to be released simultaneously with the U.S. editions. The first three of those six now have confirmed U.S. released dates:

Brenda Novak's 3rd Annual Online Auction for Diabetes Research raised a record total of $141,700! That's more than double last year's total, and it all goes directly to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Monica McCarty has sold three more Sottish historical romances to Ballantine.

Lots of foreign sales last month: Barbara Freethy sold Taken and Don't Say a Word to Portugal; Karin Tabke sold Good Girl Gone Bad to Germany; Candice Hern sold Just One of Those Flings to Italy.

Brenda Novak's Dead Silence is a finalist for the Golden Quill Award and for the Book Buyers' Best Award, both in the Romantici Suspense category. Brenda is also a triple finalist for the Beacon Award -- Dead Silence for Best Romantic Suspense, The Other Woman for Best Long Contemporary Romance, and "Just Like the Ones We Used to Know" in the anthology Once Upon a Christmas for Best Novella. Dead Silence also took second place for the Lori Award for Best Romantic Suspense.

Candice Hern's In the Thrill of the Night is a finalist for the Booksellers' Best Award.

Brenda Novak's Dead Silence has won the Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence for Best Romantic Suspense Novel of 2006. It has also been named a finalist in the More Than Magic Contest for Best Romantic Suspense.

Allison Brennan's The Kill has been named a RITA Award finalist for Best Romantic Suspense. And won the Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Award for Best Suspense novel of 2006.

Karin Tabke has signed a contract for two historical romances with Pocket.

Bella Andre has inked a new contract with Pocket Books for two erotic romances in her new "Bad Boys of the NFL" series.

Carol Grace has a title for her next book for Harlequin Romance: Their Greek Island Reunion. The publication date is not yet confirmed.

Candice Hern has been nominated for a Career Achievement Award in Historical Romance by Romantic Times. Her book In the Thrill of the Night has also been nominated for Best Regency-Set Historical Romance of 2006.

Allison Brennan's The Kill has been nominated by Romantic Times for Best Suspense Novel of 2006.

Barbara Freethy's Taken has gone back to print for a second time.
